Ranks in force in the association are those issued by the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, recognized by the International Aikido Federation and by the Aikikai Foundation organizations.
Holding a permanent delegation from the Aikikai Foundation, SHOYUKAN AÏKÏKAÏ FRANCE organizes Dan Aïkïkaï graduation ceremonies in front of Hombu Dojo Sensei, or a graduation committee chaired by Daniel JEAN PIERRE Shihan (7th Dan Aikikai).
The rules applied during these ceremonies are the same than at the Hombu Dojo.
Ranks promotion may also be requested by SHOYUKAN AÏKÏKAÏ FRANCE on recommendation for the “Kagami biraki” held annually in January at the Hombu Dojo.
